About Second Act

How we got here…

A year and a half ago we had a the idea to open a cute little boutique where the community could buy and sell everything
related to dance.  As time moved along, the idea began to grow.  We viewed a number of buildings to lease and each one inspired us in
different ways.  Our search eventually (and quite randomly) brought us to 205 Pacific Avenue, Saskatoon…. the old Dance Saskatchewan
Building!

Our jaws immediately dropped at the site of a massive 2400 square foot studio with twenty foot high ceilings, sprung floors, mirrors,
bars.  And it didn’t stop there!  3 more studios (one that we later took out to convert into store space), offices, bathrooms, storage rooms…
it went on and on for 8900 square feet.  And then we went upstairs!  Another 2900 square feet of offices and a hallway with windows that
overlook 2 of the incredible studios.  Wouldn’t it be amazing to have massage, physio, a seamstress all on site?!

We knew that this space could not continue to hide behind lock doors and so we made the brave (or insane?) decision to take on this beast of a
project.

So that is how we got to not only be a “cute little Dance Consignment Store”, but also Rental Studios, and Professional Services.

Yikes, wish us luck!  Better yet, swing by and take a peak!
